cTrader Client Portal
A cTrader client portal is the branded area where clients register, verify, open and view their cTrader accounts, fund and withdraw, and track activity. Most of a client portal is platform-agnostic; account provisioning is the part that is platform-specific.
StockVala's standard product line is built around MT5 infrastructure. cTrader integration is available as custom development rather than as an off-the-shelf module — raise it early in scoping so it can be assessed properly. A client portal is mostly not about the trading platform. Registration, document upload, verification status, funding requests, withdrawal requests and an account overview are all the same problems regardless of what the client trades on.
The platform-specific parts
- Opening a trading account — the portal has to create it on the platform.
- Displaying account state — balance, equity and margin come from the platform.
- Trading history — read from the platform.
- Routing a client into the trading terminal.
Everything else — the majority of the portal — is independent of the platform choice.
The detail worth insisting on
Available balance on the withdrawal screen must reflect the live account. A portal that shows a cached figure can tell a funded client they have nothing available, which is the fastest way to lose trust that exists in this business.
Branding
Your domain, your logo, your name in system emails. Vendor branding anywhere in the client funnel tells your clients something you probably did not intend to tell them.
