MT5 technology

MT5 MAM Software

MT5 MAM lets a money manager place a single trade on MetaTrader 5 that is allocated across many investor accounts according to a configured allocation method. Each investor keeps their own account, balance and statement.

A manager running thirty investor accounts cannot place every trade thirty times accurately and at speed. MAM solves that: the manager trades once and the system distributes.

Allocation on MT5

The trade placed on the master account is distributed across managed investor accounts using a configured method — proportional to balance, proportional to equity, by fixed ratio, or by defined lot size.

Balance-based and equity-based allocation diverge as soon as accounts hold open positions, and that divergence compounds. It is worth the manager understanding which method their mandate actually uses.

What investors keep

Their own trading account, their own balance, their own statement, and visibility of exactly what was traded on their behalf. The manager holds execution rights, not ownership — which is what makes MAM comfortable for investors who want professional management without giving up custody.

What a broker gains

Managers arrive with an existing investor base. Supporting MAM is often the specific thing that determines whether a manager brings that book to you or to a competitor.
