What is CRM?
In a brokerage context, a CRM is the back-office system that manages client records, KYC and onboarding, trading account provisioning, deposits and withdrawals, and partner commission calculation.
Stands for: Customer Relationship Management
A brokerage CRM differs from a general sales CRM in that it is organised around clients, their trading accounts and the money moving between them, rather than around contacts and pipeline.
It is normally integrated with the trading platform so that account creation and balance operations can be performed from the client record.
